TRANSPORTS KAIDOMAR  is a family company.

encompassing three (3) companies and has been operational for more than eighty years.

  • The head office in Mostaganem was founded in 1922 by our late grandfather Mohamed KAIDOMAR, owner of horses and buggies transporting goods in the urban area. Transport operations expanded with the arrival of steam driven trucks followed by enclosed cabin trucks then came the Willeme and in 1958 the company purchased the first Turbo charged Berliet trucks whose Turbo was found to be defective by our mechanic in our workshop. It took 11 years to find a solution to this defect with the arrival of the new TR's in 1969.
  • In 1970 Mourad son of the late Mohamed KAIDOMAR exerting various function since 1964 within the company succeeded as CEO of Socièté KAIDOMAR (name of the company at that time). Putting to profit his  experience Mourad focussed on purchasing the necessary equipment to move material and equipment from the Port of Mostaganem (that transits between 16 and 20 million tons a year) to the South country and the Sahara with it's development of the Oil and Gas industry.
  • In 1980 the company had grown from 4 to 10 trucks always focussing on quality, service, timely delivery and safety. This approach enabled the company to gain confidence of larger Companies such as: Bechtel Int Inc, Hazama, Impros  and Agip...
  • In 1994 KAIDOMAR Company signed its first Mega contract with Bechtel International Inc, for the exclusive transport of materials destined for the GME (Euro Maghreb gas pipeline). KAIDOMAR Company performed 8000 rotations from the Port to the Sahara within 18 months(on time without incident).

This success incited the family to focus on purchasing the necessary equipment to meet upcoming demands of the gas & oil industry and at the same time position the company in the forefront of its competitors.
